Unfortunately, many staffers have abandoned us. We’re in dire need of help, in any capacity.

Alas our great and somewhat dimwitted leader, PhuzyBuny, doesn’t have any internet. I guess, chewing on random cables finally got the better of him.

EDIT: WsE was the cause of our downfall. He corrupted our leader, raped our minds and killed our scripts. He’s truly the Patron Saint of Fansubbers.

What happened:

1. lots of shit which basically killed momentum
2. school and work (no srsly this took a good chunk of us out of commission)
3. phuzbuns went MIA for RL uni
4. other staff went MIA due to teh phuz’s absence

What’s the plan:

1. REVIVE TEH PHUZZIES

I highly doubt we will finish nura but let us know how badly you want us to and we might reconsider (reason: huge backlog, .ts no longer available .ts’es are available over Share – up to ep23 as of editing D4rk: I have all of the transports streams on my HDDs. Seems like these HDTV caps is the closest thing we’ll ever come to HD. :/ )

Yeah Halloween was a night ago, probably should’ve posted then, but what the fudgers…

Our encoder is now MIA as his main computer [that lets him encode]
had to be taken in for repairs and we don’t really know when it’ll be back…
This is the next biggest blow after not having any present TLs…

Alright! We’re slowly getting back to speed! Yes, we know this is late. This episode was translated by our secondary TL! Sabino is his/her name! Also, new to our crew is AkaSakura, she’ll be our secondary editor! We’re still pulling stuff together but episode 8, 9, and 10 should be out not before long… hopefully. I’m glad the status updates on the side keeps people happy/informed. Dual subtitle tracks (which is not the reason for delays as it is quite simple to do) as usual. The arc is starting to get good too!

Unfortunately, school season is rolling around and that’s causing some slow downs for teh phuzies… I’m personally moving back to waterloo tomorrow and then I have a tonne of stuff to do after then… sigh… Anyways, enjoy your episode albeit delayed quite a bit. Thanks for sticking with us!

First off, I do apologize on behalf of the team. I did not foresee our lovely translator having RL issues and failed to consider a backup TL in case of such emergencies. Poor leadership on my part. Don’t hate on the TL (riesling is awesomesauce).

So, what happened? It was initially an “exam week” delay for episode 7. TL had to study and we fully support her in her studies \o/ However, following that week it turned to “laptop confiscation” and later “data loss”. Yes. Our TLs computer had the scripts for episode 7 and 8 wiped off T_T

Now what? Our plan, let our TL get back on her feet then we’ll have stuff rolling out, soon (hopefully). But as you can see, relying solely on this one TL has crippled the phuzies and we are in desperate need of backup TLs. Please let us know if you have any friends who might be able to help out! Email phuzybuny@gmail.com and see the tears in his eyes.

Also, in regards to the laggy OP. Please try the fixes on the side first. They will probably help more of you, not only for Phuzy releases but for watching higher resolution shows as well. But since the poll showed such a high dissatisfaction with our OP (only 26.6% had no issues), we have opted for an alternate approach to the issue. We will hardsub the OP/ED as ordered chapters.

What does this mean for you? You will have to download the OP/ED as separate hardsubbed files and leave them in the same folder as the episodes in order for them to show up when you watch the show. It’s a one time download and will also address the filesize issue that some of you have complained about. It will cut about 3 mins off the encoding time for our releases which will translate to approximately 10% filesize reduction depending on the circumstances (if you understand encoding, you’ll know that this statement is not entirely correct but I’m dumbing it down for obvious reasons…).

In summary, we’re trying our best to bring you your NuraMago as soon as possible and addressing the issues you guys have made known to the phuzies.

Sorry for any inconveniences and we hope that you will bear with us while we resolve the problems at hand.

UPDATE: Our secondary TL, which I will introduce with our nura 07 release has completed the script for episode 7! He’s (I think it’s a he) working on episode 8 and we will hopefully release sometime this weekend. PhuzySubs is coming back from the dead \o/ ZombieSubs lol
